This is a quiet park in a natural setting. The boat launch provides easy access to Babine lake for travellers visiting the community of Burns Lake. Anglers will enjoy the challenge of fishing for rainbow trout and char in the wilderness area of Babine Lake.
This park offers vehicle accessible campsites on a first-come, first-served basis - campsite reservations are not accepted. There are 20 regular size campsites. Some are under tree cover and others are beach front. There is limited parking available for extra vehicles

The park occupies part of the Hecate Depression, a trough between the Outer Mountains to the west and the Coast Mountains on the mainland to the east. The park is largely low and flat. Most of its topographic features are formed by underlying glacial deposits. In the northeast corner, Argonaut Hill, the highest point in the park, rises only 150 metres above sea level. Tow Hill, an outcrop of basalt columns, is a prominent landmark about 100 metres high on the north beach. Almost 100 km of beaches is the primary attraction for visitors.
The climate here is mild, moderated by moist Pacific air throughout the year. Cool, rainy, or foggy weather and high winds can occur at any time, however, so campers and hikers should always be equipped with warm clothing and wet-weather gear.
Angling can be productive in the Tlell River, other park waterways, and Mayer Lake. The Tlell River is famous for its coho salmon and steelhead runs.

From the campground, located at lake's edge, visitors are afforded sweeping views up the length of the lake with Todagen Mountains to the east and the Klastline Plateau to the west.
Located at the south end of Kinaskan Lake between the Skeena and Coast Mountain Ranges, this park offers spectacular scenery and good rainbow trout fishing. The Iskut River runs through the park to the south, where it enters a smaller lake called Natadesleen. The Little Iskut River branches off to the west into Mt. Edziza Provincial Park and Recreation Area.
The floating wharf and excellent boat ramp make it easy to launch your boat.
Rainbow trout are abundant in Kinaskan and Natadesleen Lakes, averaging .5 kg in weight and 30 cm in length. Fish from shore or boat, fly fish, cast, or troll with just about any lure, the hard-fighting rainbow are waiting.
