Description of Nancy Greene Provincial Park

A roadside park with a natural setting and sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming site for weary travellers. Tucked in the Monashee Mountains it is a popular overnight stop for tourists and also provides day use opportunities for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It is the perfect place to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, boating and in winter nordic skiing. The special feature in the park is the sub alpine lake.
Rainbow and cut-throat trout fishing is available in this lake.
Power boats prohibited. Tenting plus R.V. camping is allowed in parking lot. Nature trail and skiing.
Description of Syringa Provincial Park

Syringa Provincial Park is located in south central BC near the southeast end of the Lower Arrow Lake. Recreation opportunities on the Arrow Lake Reservoir have made the park a long time popular destination and offer a comfortable base camp for the family to pursue a variety of recreational pursuits including fishing, boating and swimming. Explore local history and visit the Doukhbour Village Museum and Zukerberg Island located in nearby Castlegar.
Features 60 vehicle/tent sites on the E. side of Lower Arrow Lake, N. of Castlegar. Beach areas and all forms of watersports. Marina nearby.
Description of Kootenay River Kampground:
Located 2 km/1 mi north of the airport on Highway 3A, the campground has shaded, treed, grassed sites with 15 and 30 amp service. There are firepits, a washroom, flush toilets, free hot showers, laundry and picnic tables. Fishing for walleye and rainbow is good here. Other recreation includes beach volleyball, horseshoes, and nearby golf.
