Acacia Grove is an R.V. Park, with cabins. It is fully equipped with a laundromat, store, and crafts & "Things Collectable." When you go there you will see some Acacia trees, this is how it got it's name. You can enjoy a nice walk down the main street of Spences Bridge. There are lots of cool things to check out. So come and try it out.
Description of Ace High Resort :
We are located on the southern shore of Watch Lake. This Cariboo Lake is well known for its great Rainbow Trout fishing and natural beauty. Our resort is quiet and family orientated. The property is nicely treed, mainly grassed and on 1400 feet of westward facing shoreline.
Description of Adams Lake - Spillman Beach Site Marine Provincial Park:
A boat-access only beach area with forested upland, the Spillman Beach marine site has one of the better quality beaches on Adams Lake, popular for fishing and boating. No facilities are provided at this site. This park protects an alluvial fan and the lower reaches of Spillman Creek. This park also contains mixed Douglas-fir/lodgepole pine forest with birch and cottonwoods as well as western red cedar in the north. There are small pockets of grassland, shrubs and forbs on the drier sites. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Description of Adams Lake Provincial Park - Bush Creek Site:
A pleasant beach area with lightly forested upland, Adams Lake (Bush Creek Site) provincial park is popular for fishing and boating. As few facilities are available, visitors should be self-sufficient campers. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. The gates are closed in the off season and camping is not permitted.

At Plato Island Resort we offer excellent family camping. We have cute and comfortable lakeview housekeeping cabins (with cold running water, toilet room, propane stove and furnace and electric fridge). They come with a picnic table and firepit and covered porch, fire wood. We supply dishes, pots & pans, utensils. You bring your own bedding. We have 62 campsites for seasonal and day camping. Serviced with water and electricity (23 of them being lakefront and some on sewer). There is a sani-dump. They come with a covered canopy, fire pit, fire wood. We also offer Licensed Dinning and will cater groups up to 30. Our convenience store is well stocked with necessities, as well as ice, cig., junkfood, souvenirs, fish licenses and tackle, movie rentals, free library. After 7pm groups are welcome to use the facility for playing cards, board games, watching movies. We have central washrooms with showers, laundry room.

Beautiful and serene Pirates Cove on De Courcy Island is a popular destination for boaters exploring the southern Gulf Islands. Located off Nanaimo on south Vancouver Island, the park protects a natural environment perfect for a variety of recreational activities, including kayaking, camping, picnicking, swimming, hiking, beach exploration and wildlife viewing. Pirates Cove offers a sheltered anchorage for boaters, as well as two dinghy docks – one on either side of the cove. There are 7 designated campsites with tent pads in Pirates Cove, located just above the beach. Some of these sites have ocean views and facilities include a cold water hand pump (this water should be boiled, filtered or treated prior to consumption) and composting toilets. A backcountry camping fee is in place; self registration vaults are located near the water pump. Pirates Cove is accessible year round; there is no winter camping fee, however no services are provided.

Peace River Corridor Provincial Park protects a series of islands within the Peace River Canyon as well as some scenic grassland habitats on the Peace River shoreline. Three distinct areas have been identified: Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. Peace River Corridor Island Site: this area, along the south shore of the Peace River, west of Kiskatinaw Creek, provides visitors with good fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, camping and picnicking areas along the river and around Raspberry Island. Wak’anaahtaah: translated means a place to look at. On the north shore of the Peace River west of Alces Creek, geological formations called hoodoos have developed. Alces River: at this location, there is a scenic viewpoint and picnic site overlooking the Peace River. The area is sparsely treed with grasslands dominating the south facing slopes.

Paul Lake Provincial Park is nestled in a mixed forest of Douglas-fir, pine and aspen. The park offers a large campground, a sani-station and an adventure playground. In addition there is a popular day-use area with beach and cartop boat launch, and over seven kilometers of hiking trails. This lovely lakeshore campground is within a half-hour drive of Kamloops and there are many tourist attractions in the area. Car-top boat launch; boaters must stay outside the buoyed swimming area. Paul Lake is stocked with Rainbow trout and Gerrard rainbow trout, a subspecies from Kootenay Lake, which mature much later than most rainbow and grow to a larger size.
