When you go there you will see some Acacia trees, this is how it got it's name. You can enjoy a nice walk down the main street of Spences Bridge. There are lots of cool things to check out. So come and try it out.
Description of Ace High Resort :
We are located on the southern shore of Watch Lake. This Cariboo Lake is well known for its great Rainbow Trout fishing and natural beauty. Our resort is quiet and family orientated. The property is nicely treed, mainly grassed and on 1400 feet of westward facing shoreline.
Description of Adams Lake - Spillman Beach Site Marine Provincial Park:
A boat-access only beach area with forested upland, the Spillman Beach marine site has one of the better quality beaches on Adams Lake, popular for fishing and boating. No facilities are provided at this site. This park protects an alluvial fan and the lower reaches of Spillman Creek. This park also contains mixed Douglas-fir/lodgepole pine forest with birch and cottonwoods as well as western red cedar in the north. There are small pockets of grassland, shrubs and forbs on the drier sites. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Description of Adams Lake Provincial Park - Bush Creek Site:
A pleasant beach area with lightly forested upland, Adams Lake (Bush Creek Site) provincial park is popular for fishing and boating. As few facilities are available, visitors should be self-sufficient campers. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. The gates are closed in the off season and camping is not permitted.

Conkle Lake, named for W.H. Conkle, an early settler in the nearby Kettle Valley, is noted for its rainbow trout. Visitors have come for many years to fish the lake, sunbathe, swim and hike to various viewpoints. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Codville Lagoon is a small marine park located on King Island in Fitz Hugh Sound, 80 km west of Bella Coola. Codville Lagoon offers excellent and scenic all weather anchorage, as well as featuring an unmaintained hiking trail to a freshwater lake with an interesting red sand beach and good swimming. The special feature in the park is the red sand beach along Sagar Lake and can be accessed via boat and then a 15-20 minute walk along a trail. Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no facilities are provided. There is a long sandy beach on Sagar Lake that is ideal for camping on.

This 692 hectare park and protected area is located approximately 160 km northeast of Prince George. There is logging road access within 5 km of the park/protected area. The park/protected area is situated in the Dezaiko Range of the Rocky Mountains. This park protects the internationally significant Close-To-The-Edge cave, which has the deepest shaft and is the second deepest overall cave (440) in Canada/USA, and is among the 50 deepest caves in the world. The cave was discovered in 1983, but the bottom of the cave was not reached until 1986. The primary shaft drops 253 m straight down, and is about 23 m in diameter. There are also additional, smaller caves in the park. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Unique flora and fauna, pristine old-growth forests, secluded sandy beaches, uninhabited islets, First Nations cultural sites and a fresh water lake can all be found in the park, which is accessed by boat from Kennedy Lake. Clayoquot Arm Park offers many recreational opportunities, including hiking and wilderness camping along the shores of Kennedy Lake, the largest body of fresh water on Vancouver Island. Visitors to this park can fish for Cutthroat trout, canoe or kayak paddle along the scenic shoreline or observe wildlife in its natural habitat. An unusual phenomenon occurs in Clayoquot Arm. Sockeye salmon spawn 20 meters below the water surface making for a great viewing opportunity. There are no designated campsites at this park, however random wilderness camping is allowed. No facilities are provided and there is no fee.

Claud Elliot Lake is one of three protected areas nestled along the upper Tsitika watershed. The area is part of a river system ranked among the 10 most important fish streams on Vancouver Island. There are no maintained campsites at this park, however wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed. No facilities are provided and there is no fee. Both Claud Elliot Lake and Fickle Lake are known for high quality recreational angling. Lakes contain coho salmon, Cutthroat, Dolly Varden, Kokanee and Rainbow trout and steelhead. The most easily accessible of these lakes is Claud Elliot Lake. More adventurous fishers can go to Fickle Lake, further downstream in the valley. This lake is harder to access and will require lining canoes or kayaks back upstream to Claud Elliot Lake.

Roughing it at Chataway adds to the total experience. There is no plumbing in the cabins or in the campsite. During our high season (May to October) we have a centrally located shower house where you can have hot showers all day until 9:30 P.M.There are no flushed toilets, outhouses only. The cabins all sleep four persons comfortably, with either two double beds or a double bed and a set of single bunk beds. You need to bring your own bedding. Each cabin offers a wood burning stove and a propane cook top stove for comfort and convenience, but there are no fridges in the cabins, therefore you do need to bring your own cooler. The kitchenettes are supplied with dishes, pots, pans and cutlery.
