When you go there you will see some Acacia trees, this is how it got it's name. You can enjoy a nice walk down the main street of Spences Bridge. There are lots of cool things to check out. So come and try it out.
Description of Ace High Resort :
We are located on the southern shore of Watch Lake. This Cariboo Lake is well known for its great Rainbow Trout fishing and natural beauty. Our resort is quiet and family orientated. The property is nicely treed, mainly grassed and on 1400 feet of westward facing shoreline.
Description of Adams Lake - Spillman Beach Site Marine Provincial Park:
A boat-access only beach area with forested upland, the Spillman Beach marine site has one of the better quality beaches on Adams Lake, popular for fishing and boating. No facilities are provided at this site. This park protects an alluvial fan and the lower reaches of Spillman Creek. This park also contains mixed Douglas-fir/lodgepole pine forest with birch and cottonwoods as well as western red cedar in the north. There are small pockets of grassland, shrubs and forbs on the drier sites. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Description of Adams Lake Provincial Park - Bush Creek Site:
A pleasant beach area with lightly forested upland, Adams Lake (Bush Creek Site) provincial park is popular for fishing and boating. As few facilities are available, visitors should be self-sufficient campers. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. The gates are closed in the off season and camping is not permitted.

Wallace Island Provincial Marine Park, located in beautiful Trincomali Channel between the northern ends of Saltspring Island and Galiano Island, is a popular destination for boaters and kayakers exploring the southern Gulf Islands. The numerous beaches, coves and offshore islets provide plenty of sheltered paddling opportunities in this picturesque park, which is ideal for day trips from Vancouver Island and overnight camping. This park has limited development, but offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing and hiking. Wilderness, walk-in camping is allowed in the park, which is accessible by boat only. There are 9 sites with tent pads at Chivers Point and 1 site at Cabin Bay – both sites are ideal for kayak camping. Approximately 8 open field sites are available at Conover Cove; these sites are adjacent to dock facilities and stern tie rings.

Look for mountain goats, California big horn sheep and a wide variety of bird species. Trails provide access to nearby National Waterfowl Sanctuary and Provincial Wildlife Management Area. Tyhee Lake Provincial Park is situated in the beautiful Bulkley River Valley. To the west are the Telkwa and Bulkley Ranges of the Hazelton Mountains and to the east is the Babine Range of the Skeena Mountains. Back from the 200 m sandy beachfront on Tyhee Lake is a forest consisting primarily of trembling aspen. These trees are second-growth, replacing the original cover that was destroyed by fire 40 to 50 years ago. Visitors may enjoy hiking, walking, swimming, picnicking, and nature viewing. Ice fishing and cross-country skiing are popular activities in the winter.

Tunkwa Provincial Park contains two large, man-made trout-fishing lakes, Tunkwa and Leighton, with campgrounds located on both lakes. Tunkwa is listed in the top 10 provincial rainbow trout fisheries. This park protects mid elevation grasslands, forests, lakes, and wetlands including bogs and ponds. This is a year-round recreation area, noted for camping, hunting, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Both lakes are popular for trout fishing. Lakes are stocked annually with rainbow trout. Fishing is from boats, float tubes, canoes and from shore. There are no fish cleaning stations. Fish must be cleaned out in the lake.
