Discover this uniquely located and beautifully finished waterfront cottage nestled in the woods. Thors Cove Cottage is situated in a grassy waterfront clearing surrounded by towering alders and fir trees. The cottage is solar powered, a renewable energy source which has a low environmental impact. The cottage is suitable for active couples, groups of friends and families with older children, yachters and kayakers, seminars or retreats. The cottage is fully equipped for self catering.
The 3 bedroom, 850 square foot cottage is newly built and craftsman finished with reclaimed fir wainscoting, exposed fir beams and fir flooring. A cupola in the roof lets in light to an open plan well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are on either side of the kitchen for more privacy. There is a wood burning stove in the living room for those chilly spring & fall evenings. Thors Cove Cottage has a great waterfront view from the 20 foot cedar deck and from the living room.
Thors Cove Cottage is located on the upper Sunshine Coast, 30 minutes north of Powell River. From Powell River, travel 28 km north on Hiway 101 to Malaspina Road, 2 km before the village of Lund. Turn right and follow this road to Okeover Inlet Wharf where our water taxi will meet you for the 15 minute ride to Thors Cove.
